Wireless internet won't connect

Hello,
Last night a fake anti-virus program named Defense Center installed itself on my computer. I finally got it uninstall but now i can't connect to the internet. I did a troubleshoot and it said remote device won't all connection. I don't what to do. If anyone knows I would appreciate it very much

you should delete your old network configuration and reconfigure it

Think most likely the program uninstallation affected Winsock catalog, you could try to use Winsockfix to fix it if it's XP.

If not, you can manually reset winsock catalog in command prompt with following command: netsh winsock reset

After that test to connect to Internet again.

If still not working, advise you to install other legitimate antivirus/antimalware program with latest signature and scan your computer again.
