Itunes sound not working from laptop to tv!

Hello,

My itunes will just not go through the tv, sound wise. everything else works like youtube and stuff, but itunes doesnt seem to want to play through the tv.
ive tryed stuff like going on soundplayback and everything like that but nothing seems to work :/
Can anyone please help?
