Changing ip my ps3

Hello,

I'm trying to manually change my ip address on my ps3 and it wont allow me to go forward, it only lets me go back auto ip address. then when i get to the end and test it, it ends up using the same old ip thats timed out and not the new one that i type in. CAN ANYONE HELP???

Dear Sir,

You should actually get to your Network Settings and get to Advanced settings and from there have the possibility to have it changed.

Hello, I just got my ps3 back and I have set everything up the way I think it says to but my ps3 won't obtain the IP address. It says "the key information exchange timed out" and won't go any further than that. I don't know if I should use the IP server and if I should then what do I put in? Hello,

Since we moved to Malaysia, I've been having though time with my PS3, I have picture, but no sound. All cables are in tact. What should I do..? Please someone HELP!!!!!
