Sony vaio freezed up

Hello,

i have a problem with my sony vaio...after the 1st page the whole thing is freeze no movement at all...later after sometime this message appears...

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original Setup CD-ROM
select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.

can u plz tell me how to solve this problem...

its kinda hard without using my laptop... cuz i hve a lot of projects work 2 do...
soo plz help b4 its 2 latee...
