My computer has no sound.

Hello,
I have a gateway laptop, and all of a sudden I have no sound. I cant go in and make changes because everything is where you cant make changes. you cant click on anything, or make adjustments, since the box is like highlighted out. i dont know what to do.

Dear Sir,

Please consider getting to your Device Manager for having clear information whether the Sound Driver is installed or whether its driver needs to be updated.
