How to format Sony vaio laptop

Hello,

i m using Sony Vaio laptop VGN-CR24G ..i want to format my laptop..and i m having Sony recovery disc also...plzzzz plzzz plz help me how to format with recovery disc....i m in urgent....

Hi there,

Get in bios and change the bot sequence from hard drive to cd/dvd drive as primary boot/priority boot,save and exit settings ,then boot from the recovery disk in order sequence,when booted you will get onscreen options for repairs,recovery and so on,

thank u so much...i formatted.....

I m using Sony vaio VGN-CR24G model...window vista home premium...i m having 120 GB hard disk...now i need to partition my hard disk in to two drive.....plllllzzzzzz let me know how to do this?? waitng for ur reply....

u can use disk management or easeus partition manager

Hi,

Open run:

type diskmgmt.msc press on ok

now in disk management right click on the partition and select shrink,select size.Raw partition is created,now right click on the raw partition and select create new partition entering the size you need,
