External Drives

Hello,
I bought a new external dvd/cd burner, when I go to burn it still goes to the main hardrives dvd burner which does not work (tray pops out). The dvd burner has the select drive arrow, but when I click it there are no drives in it.

Hi there,

Before burning after having made compilation of disk ,choose the external drive in the list ,if not found the install its driver on system as on vista its detected automatically,can i know which application are you currently using to burn media?
