Toshiba 1tb External Hard Drive Proble

Hello,

I recently had a friend reinstall windows xp and all the aspects of the computer work fine; internet, music, speakers, etc. But one Problem I'm having is that I saved alot of movies+music on my external hard drive and the hard drive won't restore the files. I get to the part where it says to select the files I want to restore and I do, but the next button is greyed out, so I can't proceed to the next part. Any suggestions?
