My new machine having trouble connecting

Hello,
my names is james tune and i just built and brand new computer. i have a quad core with windows ultimate as my OS. I baught a lynksys rangepro wireless networking card and installed it as instructed by the instructions. And when i boot my system the first time it freezes the os completely. So i tried rebooting and it starts up and continues the installation process and i get to connect to the internet and as soon as i open up my internet the system freezes. Any help?

First move the adapter card to a different slot and see if that helps. if not, call Linksys help number and talk to them.
