SONY Nwz-S544 Walkman ... DEAD BATTERY? Closed

Hello! 
Have loved this mp3 player, until ... yesterday. Charged it per usual, but NOW ... screen says LOW BATTERY. Took to Radio Shack, they say:  battery cannot be accessed to replace. We pushed re-set button + nothing.

C'mon ... must be way to resolve this. One year old? Bueller, Bueller ... anyone, anyone?  Need help ASAP. Important part of my Physical Therapy.

I simply cannot afford to replace.  Not an option.

Please help.  Depending on you!  Thanks inb advance!  ;O)

Hi there,
Have you tried recharging it over and over even if it says fully charged?
Mine after fully charged the battery meter was reading low, then after recharging it for a lot of times after saying fully charged, now battery meter reads fully charged.
Try that, charge it until it says fully charged then unplug it then plug it back on. do that and keep looking at the meter to see if it is charging, if it is the meter will read higher until it's fully charged.
