Hello,

i have a toshiba satellite a305d-s6851. the laptop was running fine until I closed the top and then reopened it. I didn't turn it off just shut the lid. when I opened it up I could hear the fan running and the power light was on but the screen stayed black on the monitor. couldn't get any sounds from it. put a dvd in just to see if I would try to read heard it spin for a few seconds but that was it. restarted and got the same blank screen and the only thing running is the fan. disconnected the battery, unpluged it and held power button for 60 seconds at least, reconnected everything and still no change. also, when I hit the fn key a green light comes on in the keyboard. i'm no good at this stuff and would be grateful for any help. thanks.
