Ipod has the white screen

Hello,
my ipod has the white screen of death! i tried holding the menu and select button for seconds and all it does is turn off and beep twice. the wsod fades and and i'm back where i started! please help!

You will have to get it reset for settling down with this problem, follow the steps provided in the below address.

mine did the same thing. nothing was working until i held my home button and the power button at the same time for atleast 10 seconds. then the apple logo should appear and it should be fixed! good luck :)
