'No sound device found' error message

Hello,
I have formatted my HP pavilion dv2000 and reinstalled windows XP and now I am not able to play any sound. The system gives an error 'No sound device found'. SATA was enabled on my pc earlier and I had to disable it to load windows again, could this be the reson. Also I am not able to get to the advanced settings in my bios settings. theres no tab fo radvanced settig sin bios settings. Kindly help

I have installed a driver but still the d same problem.. No sound device found!!! Plz help

Please make use of the Driver Detective application for having the direct download links for the missing drivers on your mobile phone.

Hello,

You installed drivers from hp website and what about driver detective which phOshOrOfik suggested you?Try it definitely it will solve your problem of sound.
