2nd generation nano not syncing to itunes

Hello,

my second generation nano wont sync to my itunes, it worked perfectly last time i did it but i lent it to my friend and ever scince it won't sync. he charged it using speakers so it is still regestered to my computer but when i plug it in it doesnt sync it only charges. please help.
