Internet issue

Hello plz tell me one thing that I have a one internet connection on my computer and I Share the internet connection with my two other computers through modem, but there is a some probelem with the speed of internet when one of the computer starts downloading then the other two computers speed becomes very slow and also downloading speed is very slow. so plz any body tell me how i can maintain my internet connection speed on each computer same?
