Ipod Touch Frozen

Hello, my ipod touch was jailbroken. I was having some problems with it, like it kept going into safe mode. So i got sick of it. I went on iTunes, reset my ipod.

Now heres the problem I tried to turn it on so i could activate it, but it got stuck on the screen where it only shows the apple symbol. and it has been stuck on there for now a couple of hours, and i really want help, because i dont want to wasnt $200.........

Now my ipod touch is a 8g 3rd generation, version 4.1 can somebody help? please!!!!!!
