Bad disk after burning

I have a toshiba satellite L305-S5968 with dvd supermulti, when I burn a dvd sounds like is doing it & stuff I can hear & feel the burner working but when is done & I try to play it on my dvd player it only says Bad Disc. I know there's a lot of you guys who know a lot about this thank you.

DVD players often have problems playing home-made DVDs. I would try another brand of disks (don't use DVD-RW disks) and another burning program. Also be sure to finalize the DVD.
