Hello,
how do you install volume control i have tryed every thing in the world but noooo my computer has issues in wont do anything and also my speakers are on but there is no sound comming from could you please plaes help me!?...

hi,
go to Control Panel > Open Sounds and Audio Devices > Volume tab > Select "Place volume icon in the taskbar"
check box > Apply > Click OK

I have this same problem, however it is in Windows Vista not XP. Any ideas how to keep the volume icon on the task bar for this?

I have the same problem only thing is i have a IBM. there is no ico for volume, and when i got to control panel and Audio devices it wont let me click on anything.

Its not that easy; i still have no idea how to do it; i need help :/
