Sims 3 closed when i want to save my party

Hello,
I don't know if its just me or if this is happening to anyone else, but I have a Samsung gravity and I thoroughly enjoy playing Sims 3, but unless I save literately almost every second, then the game will freeze for a sec, show a message pretty much informing me that I don't have enough memory and shut off to the main screen. So I went through all my stuff and deleted apps I don't use much and it didn't make a difference. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? And im having a really hard time forming a romantic relationship with anyone, I tried with Bernie, my boss, but its impossible, I figured maybe that was intentional, so I tried for Luke and I still can't get it to change to budding romance, it only happens with girls Ahhaha. Also any extra cheats would be much appreciated. :)
