Left button & Tap on mouse pad not working!

Hello,

I have a Toshiba L500,

Few days ago the dam left button and the tapping stopped working. I reassigned the buttons to see if it made a difference but left still wasn't working. I've disabled then enabled, I've uninstalled, then booted again for it to reinstall upon restart, but still nothing! I have windows 7. I am currently using a external mouse as it works fine.

Anyone have any ideas?
