Speakers not producing sound Closed

Hello, 
I have recently bought logitech speakers for my PC. When i connected the speakers, there is no sound coming from the speakers although the PC sounds sound is playing. The PC also says the Audio is working properly.

I am using windows XP home edition. I have done everything i could to troubleshoot the problem but still there is no sound. I have unmuted everything. Opened the PC to check for the sound card. But still, i can not find the problem.

Could anyone help Please?

1:Did you check if speakers work on any other PC?
2:Make sure that you have plugged in proper ports
3:Go to device manager
Right click on your sound driver and update...and reboot
