Hello,
My laptop works just fine, but my desktop wont let me browse. It says it is connected but nothing happens when I try to use IE and Firefox. I have tried flushing the DNS but that did not work, I dont know what to do. Please Help.

Did you uncheck proxies??

configure PC to assign IP and dns automatically.

Disable antivirus and try browsing

Hi,

1. Go to Control Panel > Network Connections

2. Right click on the Wireless Network Connection > Properties

3. At the General tab, scroll down and double-click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

4. At the General tab, thick on Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.

If the fix above didn't work, check if your firewall or antivirus does not block the connection

Good Luck!

have you tried disabling the firewall (temporarily) and see if you can access then?

Run the Network Diagnostics tool in Internet Explorer

Reset the modem or the router

Use the Delete Browsing History feature

Find out the IP address of your router.

then go to start > run type cmd > OK

the type ipconfig/all [press enter]

this will give you your IP address:
subnet mask:
default gateway:

DNS:

tell me what these are.
