Connecting Your External Monitor to Your Acer

It's a long thread so I thought I would re-iterate someone's past recommendation....check out the blue box with grey border icon found on the task bar. This is the answer to activating / tweaking your acer laptop's display to an external monitor. Played around with the icon's options and it really worked for me.
