I think my iPod is stuffed Closed

Question

Hello, I have a 160Gb Classic (refurbished and under warranty) I also have 4 other iPods, they all connect to the PC but the new one has now failed, 2 computers and 4 cables tried, reset until my thumbs are sore. NO CONNECTION STILL...............Dead I think. Unless you know better  It does though play and charge? It knows when its connected to the USB port in its self test. but Nothing? Help
