If it works on a PC - Check settings Go to Windows Start - Run and type "cmd". A black window will appear (shudder) then in this window at the prompt, type "ipconfig / all" and press enter. Then you should see what the PC DNS settings and gateway address is). You could copy settings from there to the PS3 (Primary DNS, Secondary DNS).
Without valid DNS servers, you are not going to be able to resolve ANY IP address. In English that means you wont be able to find the server for whatever page your tying to lookup.
If what I have just typed makes no sense to you then do contact your ISP. Ask them to tell you what your settings are. I know the indian chap from BT was quite helpful to me!
