WLAN switch wont remain on..

Hello,

From time to time, my WLAN switch on VAIO laptop wont remain lit. I need to fiddle with it, and hope some rubbing, beating, will solve the problem temporarily... it does 100% of the times, but leaves me with a worry what if it didnt!? Is there a way to switch wireless on permanently soft(ware)ly?

Double-click the VAIO Smart Network icon in the system tray.

In the VAIO Smart Network window, select checkbox next to WLAN

This should solve the issue
