Hello,

I got this stubborn kbdrv16.com in my Start up folder. It jeeps on reappearing when erased. I am convinced that this is some kind of worm infection.

Please help me remove this file and thanks in advance!

hi,
indeed, this is a worm!
delete it manually,
download the "MalwareBytes" software.
install it and run in the Safe Mode.
this will remove the worm for you.

Hi Daren!

I have the same problem but sadly Malwarebytes cannot remove it!
It appears that this is a "zoo" virus - it belongs to few persons who are experimenting with it.

kbdrv16.com is generated by a key logger demo worm from a guy named Rupertmax.
To remove the said worm you must have an access to its source code!
Sadly, the worm has removal tool to-date.

Why "sadly" when it has a removal tool?
If you have the removal tool be kind to post it.

Or you mean sadly it has "no" removal tool to-date?
:)
