Usb not showing up..help

Hello Everyone,


I need some help. When I plug my USB drive into my computer it doesn't show up automatically and it doesn't show in my computer. I also try going to disk management but its not there too. Can anyone help me? I need to access my files on the drive. Also I am using Vista. Please help.

2) Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter
3) Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders

* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
* SYSTEM
* CurrentControlSet
* Control
* Class
* {4D36E965-E325-11CE-
BFC1-08002BE10318}

if this doesnt work
go to device manager uninstall the usb drivers
than restart the computer it will reinstal the driver
this can fix ur issue
