Windows xp installation problem

Hello,
I install XP3 in compaq610 after disable the SATA in BIOS. XP installed Successfully after the installation i change the bios setting to enable SATA ,then system reboot continuously. Disabling sata it boot, Enabling sata it reboots,what can i do . Am i install driver software for SATA- FOR Intel PM965 CHIP SET?
