My laptop is not working.

Hello,
My laptop is not working. Because I kept my laptop in the basement for somedays with the bag. It was cold inside the basement. When I brought it back up after some days 1st it was working with a blank screen with the dash screen. I couldn't turn it off. Instead I removed the laptop battery. When I put the battery back and turned it on, it is not working. What do I do now? My laptop is Windows & compaq presario CQ62-614NR.
Not only that . My battery is always leaking.
Please tell me. Thanks
