Toshiba Satellite dead cpu Closed

Question

Hello, 



My laptop has been diagnosed with a dead cpu on this website. A user named painking said it may be one. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out by possibly showing a tutorial video or step by step instructions for a Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5093. OS is Windows 7, thought I doubt it has anything to do with it. Also, if there is a tutorial on reseting the BIOS chip, that would be nice too.

Another thing I wanted to add is quite a silly question I guess. Would using System Restore revert the BIOS back to the default settings? I'm not sure if it would, but I think the BIOS got updated through Windows Update, so if I just revert it back, I believe it would work like normal. Just another query.
