Server 2008 r2 is running really slow

Hello,

the system of my windows server 2008 r2 is running really slow, I have to extend the partition of system!! I've tried the built-in disk management of windows, but after releasing some free space from drive d: I just cant add it to drive c:, I cant move its position! it's disgusting!! then I found some 3rd part softwares, but all of them are not free they're more expensive than I can afford Is there some advises to help me~~ thanks a lot!!

Hello Esther, I think Partition Assistant Server Edition is exact what you look for. http://www.partition-magic.org/windows-server-2008/windows-server-2008-resize-partition.html here is an article talking about how to extend the system partition of windows 8 server, and the software is totally free, you should try it, I'm sure it will help you out.
