Problem booting old drives

Hello,
i have been running a hitachi 1TB drive for some time now and found some old drives that i used to use and wanted see if there was any infomation on them thaat i may have lst. so i plugged in the first drive and drive fires up but the computer dousent reconise it what so ever not at boot up or in my computer. i tred the same thing with all the drives and nothjing happen. i have 2 sata drives and 2 IDE is there a way of getting them going and maybe a software that can recover some of the data?

the drives are a Western Digital, Seagate and hitachi

Are you sure that both the data and power cables are connected?

yeah everything is conected corectly ive even tried different cables different sockeds ECT..
