Hello,
I've been trying to fix my router but it is still not working. I tried to follow the instructions in other forums but it's doing no good. My internet connection is working properly when it is connected directly to my desktop but when I try to connect it to my router, it's not working. Help, please? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Did you try to reset the router to it's factory settings? It should have a reset switch on the back. Normally a paper clip can be used to push down the recessed switch.
If it's an old (5 years or more) router it just might have failed. I have found that they seldom last more than 5 years.
