Hello,
My Sony Vaio laptop VPCF 132FX is all screwed up and I'd like to reset it to manufacture standards. However, I don't want to lose the information (7 000 photos) (150,000 words) amongst other stuff that I' want to keep. Can it be done. Operating system is Windows 7 and a failed Windows 8, with a partition
Regards

Hello,
The only way it can be done is to transfer all of your data to an external memory device. Restoring to factory settings will erase all data and the applications you installed.
