Remove image properties

Hello,

how to delete the image properties (example: name , date taken , path etc ). for jpeg and png formats mainly.

yest it works I tried it but it does not delete all information about images.

i want to delete computer name and the path details this is mainly what I am trying to do

Hi hamdi_shtay,

You can use the below steps to remove the Date Taken and other personal properties from the image:

1. Right click the image.
2. Select "Properties".
3. Click "Details" tab.
4. Click Remove "Properties and Personal Information" hyperlink at the bottom.
5. Select the options of your choice from here to remove.

Do reply with results.

I can try finding methods to remove other properties of the image file, please mention in your reply what other properties you want to remove from the image file.

Hi hamdi_shtay,

"Folder path" and "Computer" are properties which are specific to the computer where the picture file is stored. If the picture file is viewed in a different computer or stored in different location, these properties will also change. You are not required to change these manually.
