windowslive messenger is not responding Closed

Question

hello every one 
i have a problem to sign in with windowslive messenger 
it was working ok then out of sudden i could sign in as offline but when i try 2 change 2 online was not responding 
then again out of sudden now i cant sign in at all coz after i try the windowslive messenger will not respond 
at the main time i can sign with the old msn !
i tried many times 2 un install the windowslive messenger and re install it .
no changes !
i tried 2 rest my fire wall as default .. and checked if it allows the messenger its ok 
any one can help plz ?

hi,
go to your internet options in the control panel and delete your cookies and temporary files.
you may as well delete the whole browsing history.
this should fix your problem.
