i m having problem with my dell inspiron n5010.
its repelling the ac current..ie...the charger turns off when the power cord is inserted into the charging port.other inspiron chargers are also producing the same results,as stated above.my charger is working well on other laps.
then i din take much care and used the lap by charging the battery on other laptops.
now i am having this problem....my laptop does the startup work but after 1 min or so..it turns off....
does anybody have any idea as to what the problem is?
please do reply...

Hi pop_2011,
As the light on the AC Adapter goes off when plugged into the laptop this indicates motherboard failure. This will require you to replace the motherboard and DC-in port in the laptop.
Please revert for clarification.
