Dell Computer errors on startup

My other computer has started to have the Blue screen of death on startup every time it tries to boot up, I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and I need to know how to system restore asap most of the menu's just crash when clicked on. And I know it sounds like I need a new computer ( which I do) but I dont have much money at the moment and it would mean alot if someone could help out.
