Hi,
Pls help with my gateway problem.
I have a gateway nv59c laptop. it shut down while the system was restoring. On putting it on, I skipped the repair option and started windows normally. Blue pages saying 'page in non page area'. Started appearing. I tried resetting but before reset can start, it brings up another page saying system service error. I'm trying to reset from start menu now so tips in that area would be useful too. thank you in anticipation.

Hi Burlanlay,

Of all the causes mentioned in the link the most probable cause can be Memory Module(s). This is an easy to re-seat component however I recommend you seek a technician's help in doing this as you are not comfortable opening the chassis. You can also refer to the Service Manual of the Laptop for dismantling and safety steps.

You can also refer to the below mentioned hyperlink for more tips on RAM:

No Boot after installing new RAM

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your patience, Zohaib R. I checked the manual and tried the alt+f10 combination. It helped reset it without having to dismantle it. Thank you for your time.
