thanks for the reply zohaib r. i'm not much of a tech person and i found the link even before posting this message but i don't know how to dismantle a computer. i'm trying to reset from boot up but i dont know what keys to press to reach the menu. thanks again.

Hi Burlanlay,
Of all the causes mentioned in the link the most probable cause can be Memory Module(s). This is an easy to re-seat component however I recommend you seek a technician's help in doing this as you are not comfortable opening the chassis. You can also refer to the Service Manual of the Laptop for dismantling and safety steps.
You can also refer to the below mentioned hyperlink for more tips on RAM:

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your patience, Zohaib R. I checked the manual and tried the alt+f10 combination. It helped reset it without having to dismantle it. Thank you for your time.
