Sata hdd is not responding

Hello,
dear kioskea
i changed my mother board on that time when i was connecting my hdd there was only a serial power supley, but my hdd have only sata power input. so i used a converter cable for solve this problem. unfortunately when i connect the power lead was changed and now the hard disc is not responding. is there any posibility to get the data of the hdd. my hdd is seagate 250 gb sata.

hi,
you canput the HDD in another computer as slave and then try to use the Check Disk options.
1) press START
2) press MY COMPUTER
3) right click on the drive and choose PROPERTIES
4) press the TOOLS tab
5) press CHECK NOW
