I have a Toshiba Satellite RT1 I have just installed XP pro, and I cannot find the drivers for a number of devices. One being the Ethernet controller. When I go to the official site, and enter my serial # it is not recognized. It is a PSPBOC-TR 108C # 57375202K The site tells me that it is not valid, but it is right on the sticker on the laptop. Any and all help appreciated.

Try going to the site again. Type in your info without the #

Unless I am doing something wrong, all I see are the drivers for Vista. I need a lot of the same drivers, but for XP Pro. Mine being a RT-108C the link takes me to the RT-708C Not wishing to appear dumb, but are they interchangeable as far as the drivers are concerned.

It was my mistake but all you had to do is go up under support centre, extreme right pane and select RC108C instead of 708. then click on the driver tab.

This is the link that I have searched for you:

I'm terribly sorry that I complicated things for you; like the rest of the members, I'm only a volunteer on this site.

Oops! You installed XP Pro, was it over Vista ? If so I must say: "Houston, we have a problem!"

Actually I lost the hard drive, and when I installed another, Vista would install, but the screen stayed blank after the install. Could not even see to put in the video driver, so I installed XP because it has a built in video driver, so that I could at least see what I was doing. Unfortunately I could not find some of the drivers. So I am going to try to put in some of the ones that were on the RT-708C Sometimes they used the same drivers for a series. You found a hell of a lot more that I did, and it won't hurt to try. Thanks for the effort on your part.
