I have an Acer but an LG monitor and all I'm getting is the d-sub power saving mode message. I've read the answers, tried unplugging power from both to let the power drain and it worked for a day. The next day I was having the same problems and I tried letting the method again but it wouldn't work this time. I even purchased a new cable and cleaned the dust. What else can I do? Thanks in advance!
