Hi all,

For 4 days now I have not been able to use my browsers chrome or Internet explorer. I am connected to the Internet but when I open my browsers it says this web page is not available.
I have tried turning everything off and that doesn't work. My dads laptop works fine on the sky Internet it's just my laptop that won't load. I have a Sony vio and its windows xp.
Please please can someone help me. I am not very good with the tech and am really struggling. Many thanks

Not in the command prompt. Close the command prompt, and open like this:

Thank you so much for taking the time to do the screen grab. I did it as directed and restarted but the browser still won't load, I really don't know what else to do?? Do you think it's fully broken??

A few last suggestions.

1. Uninstall Chrome. Chrome is known to create conflicts.

2. You may have a virus, not you but your computer.

Download this tool and put it on a flash drive (pen drive) from there, install it on your sick machine. (Update it, you should get a connection)

Run a full scan.

Hey dude, I have had this happen to me and this is what you should do

Download malware scanning program e.g malware bytes

Run it

Do a quick scan

Follow instructions

Delete malware

Restart you computer
