Win 7 cant connect to Internet via modem.

Cant connect to Internet using dsl modem. All other pc's connect fine. Under advanced internet options Use SSS 3.0 and TLS 1.0 are checked. Help?

Ok, On windows 7 you must set a network location. Is it on home, public, or work?

When administering the network, it doens't alwasy prompt for that setting, and that is the setting where the firewall is set.

Once you set that, it should work.
