Not booting

I shut down the laptop asus.bit seems that laptop was not shut down. I closed the sreen while lights were still on. Now when I switch it on scrren is black snd not booting. Once it occured to me and technican just pressed someting on keyword to close it properly. Can you help me!

Please hold down the power button to completely turn it off.
