I moved recently and neglected to turn off the monitor,now when I turn it on I get "no signal" message and it shuts off.What can I do to fix it? It was fine before this.

Have you tried to connect your monitor to another computer to see if it works ?

I don't see the relation between moving and forgetting to turning off the monitor.

yes I tried that,it didn't work there either.I don't know if there is a relation to not turning off the monitor and moving...........I just know it worked before that

I think this may be the pc ,I have also switched out the monitor and get the same error message

Explain what you mean by "switched out"?
