Hello everyone who may help me.
My problem is that when I plug in my removable disk, I cannot view my data eventhough properties state that my disk is working properly and it is not empty

hi I had a similar problem, although it the problem developed into the drive (WD external) not being accessible.

the result was the electronics that the drive uses within the case were damaged. I took it to data recovery & got everything back.

I have seen videos on you tube where the casing was taken apart & the drive connected to usb port using purchased hardware.
