My windows 8 laptop mouse wouldnt work at all

GUYS!! please help on this one. So I have been using my laptop for a while now and then my niece have accidentally press some buttons at the same time. I tried to use F5 but didnt work aswell as shift alt and num lock. The cursor hadnt showed up evem when I press those keys and swipe left to right. Iw ouldnt like to spent my time and money for fixing it so please help really need it!!

Hi,
are you using touchpad? i think its lock in the laptop setting. or try putting usb mouse.
