Dell inspiron starting problem

Dear mam/sir,

My dell inspiron is having a start problem
I had not opened my laptop since from around 15 days and now when I open battery was dead so I charged it. It showed a blinking green light and then steady white light then after few minutes when I tried to put on just it showed dell and then automatically it was cutt off... repeatedly I tried with gaps but same problem persists. Please help recently I had also changed my hard disk.

Please try the following: ( after charging for 2 hours)

1. remove the battery and unplug from wall
2. press and hold down the power button for 45 seconds
3. replace the battery and plug back into wall outlet
4. start as normal
